Disinformation spreads faster than facts. Asian American, Latine, Black, and other communities across California are consistently overlooked in narrative and engagement efforts. The result is many are left feeling politically homeless, disconnected, and unseen. Extremist movements have built powerful content pipelines, trusted messengers, and on-the-ground networks to reach and activate them. Meanwhile, on the progressive side, our messages and infrastructure remain fragmented.

The California Futures Hub seeds aspirational narratives rooted in democracy and equity, trains content creators and community leaders, and builds dissemination channels through trusted messengers and cultural media. We bridge storytelling to action, connecting people to civic homes where they can belong long-term.

    We’re building experimental narrative and content labs now, so organizations and creators can move quickly when it matters most. We provide the tools, training, and networks for movements to counter misinformation in real time with culturally resonant content.

    Through fellowships and training programs, we work long-term with creators, community leaders, and institutions to develop trusted voices that reach and connect with diverse audiences in California.
